JSC "ENERGO-PRO Georgia" continues implementation of projects for recruitment of energy faculty students

JSC ENERGO-PRO Georgia continues to carry out projects to popularize the energy sector and attract young staff. Over the past few months, 29 students have undergone internship in the company in frame of "Summer Employment Program". 5 students have already been employed. In nearest future 5 more students will be recruited, while the rest of the candidates will start working at the company gradually after the graduation.
 
"Participation in the Summer Employment Program of JSC "Energo-Pro Georgia" has given me the opportunity to aquire practical knowledge and experience that can not be taught only in the university. Internship period was very interesting and fruitful. As a result of internships, I reviewed the working processes at the spot. This allowed me to develop skills, which was practically impossible with only a theoretical knowledge. After completing the internship I have signed a six-month contract with the company and I am anticipating future professional growth and development," - said Gocha Kuchuashvili, graduate of Georgian Technical University Faculty of Energy, participant of the Summer Employment Program.
 
The Summer Employment Program was designed for the graduate students and graduates of the Faculty of Energy, as well as energy and power engineering students of vocational colleges.
 
The Summer Employment Program included a two-month paid internship. The selected candidates passed internships and trainings at different departments of the company - labor protection, diagnostics, relay protection, electricity substations Operations, metering lab, operational management, designing, Hydro Power Stations, energy survailance, call center and other directions. Internships were conducted at the headquarters of the company in Tbilisi and regional branches in Kutaisi, Batumi, Khashuri and Telavi.
 
Interns were distributed in the company's branches and departments. At the same time, all the interns had their mentor. After the internship, the mentors and heads of the relevant structural units listened to the final presentation prepared by the students and evaluated each intern. All interns of the program received positive assessment and relevant recommendations for future employment prospects.
 
„Mentioned Employment Program may be considered as a message to undergraduate students so to attract them in choosing their future profession from the energy field. We promise them that recruitment of the best students will be our priority as we are interested in attracting young cadres to the energy sector” – said Director General of JSC ENERGO-Pro Georgia Mikheil Botsvadze.
 
The "Summer Employment Program" implemented by JSC "Energo-Pro Georgia" was a pilot project, which will continue in future and cover all regions of Georgia  within the service area of ​​the company.
