In case of revealing the electricity theft conducted by the customer, corresponding act will be drawn up upon carried out needed measurements.
Based on this act, stolen kW/h will be calculated and corresponding amount due to payment will be established.
Act drawn up on electricity theft will be discussed by relevant authorized commission and result will be uploaded at electronic portal of information bank of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Person who violated will be fined in accordance with the existed legislation.

Large customer status
The status of a large customer is determined by the Electricity Transmission System (GSE) and / or Electricity Distribution System Operator (ENERGO-PRO Georgia, Telasi) approved by the Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (GNERC) on December 28, 2020. In accordance with the Rule of Determination ”(https://matsne.gov.ge/ka/document/view/5069902?publication=0).
A large consumer is an end-user who has the right to trade in an organized energy market (wholesale market). Large customers after July 1, 2021 will have the right to enter into a supply contract with several suppliers simultaneously.
As a result of the amendments to the Network Rules by GNERC Resolution No. 6 of March 30, 2021, Article 3241 was added to the Rules of the Network, according to which users with large customer status were required to regulate metering nodes (https://matsne.gov.ge/ka/document/ view / 5144385? publication = 0).
