Lajanuri Hydro Power Plant - Installed capacity 113 MW - located on the territory near Tsageri. The HPP is built on the water flow made by redirecting the river Tskhenistskali into the river Lajanuri and the volume of its water reservoir is 25 mln m3. The underground HPP has decade regulation design. Lajanuri HPP was put into exploitation in 1960.

Rioni Hydro Power Plant - Installed capacity 48 MW - is a derivation type hydro power plant built on the common waterflow of the rivers Rioni and Tkhenistskali. Headwork is located on the territory where the river Rioni enters the border of Kutaisi and the power knot is located in the area near the railway station Rioni. The power plant was put into exploitation in 1933.

Gumati Hydro Power Plant - Installed capacity 67 MW - Gumati HPP I and Gumati HPP II that create cascade of Gumati HPPs envisage use of 12 km section of the water flow of the river Rioni, from the village Joneti to the weir of Rioni HPP for energy needs. The 30 m high concrete gravity dam is located about 7 km North-West from the city Kutaisi on the river Rioni created reservoir with net storage volume of 13 mln m3. The power plant was put into exploitation in 1958.

Shaori Hydro Power Plant - Installed capacity 38 MW -the first stage of cascade of Shaori-Tkibuli HPPs is annual regulation hydro power plant Shaori HPP. The plant is built on the river Shaori. Its reservoir is made of the dam built next to territory of the village Khorga, in Shaori hollow. The power knot is situated in the city Tkibuli. The plant was put into exploitation in 1955.

Dzevrula Hydro Power Plant - Installed capacity 80 MW - the second stage of cascade of Shaori-tkibuli HPPs is annual regulation hydro power plant – Dzevrula HPP. The plant uses combined water flow made by redirecting reprocessed water of Shaori HPP into the river Tkibula. The dam that is built in Akhalsopheli hollow creates the reservoir with volume of 82 mln m3. The power knot is located in the district of Terjola. The plant was put into exploitation in 1956.

Atsi Hydro Power Plant – Installed capacity 16 MW - isannual regulation hydro power plant. The plant is built on the river Acharistskali, 30 km from Batumi city. The plant was put into exploitation in 1941.

Satskhenisi Hydro Power Plant - Satskhenisi HPP is a hydro power plant of an annual regulation located in the village Saakadze. It works on Zemo Samgori irrigation system channel. Its installed capacity is 14 MW. Average annual capacity is 50 million kW/h. Satskhenisi HPP was put into operation in 1952. |

Chitakhevi Hydro Power Plant - Chitakhevi HPP is a hydro power plant of seasonal regulation. It is located on the river Mtkvari, near village Dviri (Borjomi region). Installed capacity of the HPP is 21 MW. Annual average capacity of Chitakhevi HPP is 110 million kW/h. The plant was put into operation in 1949-51. |
